Grand Park, powered by The Music Center, continues to celebrate its momentous 10th anniversary with another free signature event for Angelenos: the popular outdoor summer dance party Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions. The not-to-be-missed free curated experience will showcase a collective of local and guest DJs, including KG Superstar, DJ Adé, DJ Rashida, Jerry Flores, Tailwind Turner and the legendary Tony Touch, most of whom have jammed at Sunday Sessions events from the past decade. More artists and surprise guests to be announced!Curated by KG Superstar and DJ Adé, the theme of this year’s Sunday Sessions is Utopia: One Tribe One Love, celebrating with global House music including Latin House, Afrobeat, Nu-Disco, Classics, Amapiano, Soul, Afropop and Hip-Hop. Food and beverages from some of L.A.’s favorite food trucks will be available for purchase in the park. The public can dance and picnic under the sun at the “park for everyone”!WHAT: Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions offers Angelenos a free outdoor summer dance party to celebrate L.A.’s many vibrant and unique music scenes and mark Grand Park’s milestone 10th anniversary. Honoring L.A.’s contributions to the globally-embraced art form of House music, Grand Park brings the best House music artists to L.A.’s central gathering place to relive the memories, praise the art makers and connect members of the community with dance and music as a centerpiece. This is a free event open to all ages. Picnicking is encouraged. Food and beverages will be available for purchase; no outside alcohol is permitted in the park. Cocktails available for purchase with a valid I.D.
