This Valentine’s Day, Gloria Molina Grand Park honors the “Power of Love” with Love Notes, a free celebration centered on the soulful “oldies” sound and the timeless tradition of radio dedications. Neighbors are invited to picnic and share in a night of community connection, culminating in a breathtaking drone light show that transforms the sky into a love letter for the entire County.

Inspired by the timeless tradition of soulful radio dedications and the “oldies but goodies” sound that has bridged generations, the event celebrates love in its most expansive forms: for one another, for our unique neighborhoods, and for the County itself.
What to Expect
Set across from fountain overlook, the illuminated splash pad, to the Olive Court, the event invites everyone to picnic, stroll, and connect in an environment built on care and belonging.
Live Screen-Printing
On-site custom tote bag printing featuring a unique design by queer Latinx artist Las Chicas Peligrosas. 🎨
The Art of the Card
Valentine’s card-making sponsored by LA2050 , and floral bouquet stations from Agustina’s Flower Bar, providing a space for neighbors to create and gift something special.
Classic Car Vignette
A curated display of six classic vehicles provided by Viejitos SGV, providing a nostalgic backdrop for photos.
Celestial Love Letter
A drone light show finale by Grizzly Entertainment, transforming the night sky into a visual dedication to the people of the County.

A little love, a little sugar 💘. Enjoy sweet treats from our friends at Cake Girl, made right here in the neighborhood — while supplies last.

Stroll through Love Notes Maker’s Row, where four local small businesses bring handmade goods and heart to the park.
"Dedicated to You" Soundscape
The heart of the evening—a curated journey of classic soul and “oldies but goodies” hosted by DJ Lee Set & Devil One, featuring live dedications. Inspired by Art Laboe’s iconic love dedications, guests can text their messages to for a chance to hear them shared during the night.
