A summer celebration of collective energy, community connection, and high-energy dance. Moving to a steady 4/4 rhythm, this open-air series features curated lineups from local music pioneers, an artisan Maker’s Market, and a mindful beer garden. Come catch the afternoon warmth, feel the music, and experience how individual vibrations create a unified crowd.

CQUESTT
LA born and raised, CQUESTT turned a world-touring dance career into a DJ sound that fuses the global rhythms she picked up along the way.
SPIÑORITA
Spiñorita is a genre-bending LA DJ who turns '90s backyard parties, desert raves, and underground clubs into sets that blend Funk, Freestyle, Drum & Bass, Guaracha, House, and more.
DOS FLAKOS
Dos Flakos delivers electrifying remixes and diaspora-inspired sets that turn dance music into a cultural movement.
JOSH PEACE
Josh Peace is an LA DJ, producer, and co-founder of Mustache Mondays, the queer underground party that helped turn DTLA into a sanctuary for genre-defying sound and made him a veteran figure in the city's nightlife.

Sunday, July 19, BaileWorld

The July 19 edition features the cross-cultural energy of Baile World, an Afro-Latina-led party celebrating culture, inclusivity, and a safe space for POC femmes.

Terrell Brooke
Terrell Brooke is an LA DJ and founder of TheyHouse, spotlighting Black and queer house music through rhythmic, rare selections, with features on NTS, Oroko Radio, and a monthly Dublab residency.
NRS LNDSY
NRS LNDSY is a Black queer DJ from the South spinning house music that blends crowd-favorite classics with new and underground artists. And she's a Pisces.
Packrat
Packrat is a Philly-born, LA-based movement artist turned DJ, with credits spanning Madonna, Megan Thee Stallion, Doechii, and FKA Twigs. After years of moving crowds from the stage, she's behind the decks now, spinning house from the heart to move you on the dance floor.
BLKShine
BlkShine is a Detroit-born, Brooklyn-based, crafts agroovy sets, blending house, disco, funk, soul, hip-hop, and jazz, BlkShine builds warm, immersive dance floors where sweat, connection, and rhythm take over, music made to be felt, not rushed.

Sunday, August 16, TheyHouseLA

The August 16 edition celebrates the foundational Black and LGBTQIA+ roots of house music with an extended collective takeover by TheyHouse LA. Curated by Terrell Brooke, resident selectors spin a deep, continuous curation of rare Chicago house, acid tracks, and deep house classics.

Soul Source: Continuing on its 7th year, Soul Source Los Angeles has been providing electrifying rhythms and vibrant energy, where dancers and deejays alike unleash their creativity, transforming any event onto boundless bursts of self-expression. Prepare to see the best dancers come out for this.

While enjoying the park and the global grooves, guests can try their hand at tie-dyeing, transforming pre-loved garments into bold, wearable art. For a refreshing interlude, the park’s Splash Pad provides the perfect space to cool off and recharge for the next dance set.

DYE: Cayetano Talavera is a LA-based dye artist and designer. Through HECHO BY CAYE, he transforms textiles with natural dyes and salvaged materials, fostering connection through workshops and craft. 🎨 Bring a natural fiber piece to dye for FREE! 

LEARN: The Wall Las Memorias is a health and wellness group serving Latino, LGBTQ, and underserved communities through advocacy, education, leadership, and its national AIDS monument. 

SNAP A PIC: Make a splah and grab a gif from New World Photobooth.  

SWAP: Radical Clothes Swap is a WOC-led mutual-aid nonprofit in LA hosting free clothing swaps and educating communities on fast fashion’s impact, promoting mindful, sustainable relationships with clothes. FREE Inclusive Pieces.

LEARN: Our Community LA™ (OCLA™) uses tech to connect LA’s most vulnerable—youth, families, and adults facing homelessness—to essential resources, including through its WIN What I Need mobile app.

Is it all-ages?

Yes, Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions is free and open to all ages. We invite everyone to  be a part of this incredible event. Pets are welcome too!

Is it free?

Yes, it is free to attend! No ticket is necessary. If you see anyone selling you a ticket please reach out to us – grandparkinfo@musiccenter.org

Where do I park?

Public parking is available for $10.00 per vehicle at the following locations: 

  • Main Music Center Garage: (135 N. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012) 
  • The Music Center’s Walt Disney Concert Hall Garage: (111 S. Grand Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90012) 
What are the public transportation options?
  • Conveniently located at the Civic Center/Grand Park station along the Metro B Line (Red) and D Line (Purple) via Metro’s new Regional Connector at Grand Av Arts/Bunker Hill or Historic Broadway Little Tokyo/Arts District stops on the Metro A Line (Blue) and E Line (Expo)
