THREE SUNDAY AFTERNOONS: JULY 23, AUGUST 20 AND SEPTEMBER 17, 2023, FROM 3:00 – 8:00 P.M.
LOS ANGELES (June 15, 2023)—Gloria Molina Grand Park, powered by The Music Center, celebrates the return of the free House music dance party series with a lineup of artists and musicians who have shaped how House music has made L.A. one of the leading destinations for the art form. Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions will take place on three selected Sundays—July 23, August 20 and September 17, 2023, from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.—that will transport Angelenos and visitors on eclectic House music journeys. During these not-to-be-missed outdoor experiences, revelers can sip cocktails, picnic and dance, while enjoying live DJs and exploration of the House music genre and cultural community.
Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions launches on July 23 with the park debut of famed AFROPUNK whose cross-platform global initiative and arts festival will create experiences that empower, amplify and solidify our community. On August 20, Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions celebrates the 20th anniversary of longtime community partner Fusicology. Latin House music closes the popular series on September 17 in alignment with Latino Heritage Month.
WHAT:
Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Sunday Sessions offers Angelenos a free summer outdoor dance party series to celebrate L.A.’s contribution to the globally embraced art form of House music. This year’s highlights include the 20th anniversary of Gloria Molina Grand Park’s longtime community partner Fusicology; the park debut of AFROPUNK | SPACES L.A.; and a tribute to the vibrant rhythms and infectious beats of Latin House. Gloria Molina Grand Park brings the best House music artists to L.A.’s central gathering place to relive the memories, praise the art makers and connect members of the community with dance and music as the centerpiece.
This is a free event open to all ages. Picnicking is encouraged. Food and beverages will be available for purchase; no outside alcohol is permitted in the park. Cocktails may be purchased with a valid I.D.

September 17: Latin House with Von Kiss, Raul Campos, Juliet Mendoza and David Montoya
