Gloria Molina Grand Park is the Park for Everyone.
Los Angeles is a beautiful county that is home to residents of diverse backgrounds, cultures, nationalities, income levels, immigration statuses, circumstances and identities. We strive to be a space where everyone can safely enjoy nature and programming feeling fully seen and valued as a human being and a treasured part of our community.
We believe abuse and violence towards any group is unacceptable, and the fear and anxiety felt by so many members of our community is real. We recognize that the historic and present lived experiences of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) in the United States does not meet our ideals. We reject harmful and inaccurate narratives that minimize the diversity of our community and diminish the lives and contributions of all Angelenos.
We promise to continue to uplift and amplify diverse voices through public programs and partnerships and practice kindness daily… doing our part to acknowledge systemic injustices and advance equity in our community.
We are optimistic about ushering change and making an impact through our programming and stewardship of public space for current and future generations to come.
We hope that Gloria Molina Grand Park continues to be a resource for you and your loved ones to relax, enjoy arts & culture, and connect. We invite you to visit the space, our content archives, and partners as a source of inspiration and support for your wellbeing as you navigate the days ahead.
Here for you & with you,
Gloria Molina Grand Park
