GRAND PARK’S OUR L.A. VOICES Feminist Acting Workshop with Gina Young @ The Music Center Annex
Apr 22 @ 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Creative Practice Workshop Series

Feminist Acting Workshop with Gina Young

MON APR 22 + TUE APR 23 // 12noon – 2pm // The Music Center Annex  (601 W. Temple St, L.A. 90012)

Feminist Acting Class is a revolutionary approach to actor training that shakes the entire foundation on which it is built. Created by playwright and director Gina Young as a series of experiments to determine if the form and content of an acting class can both be made feminist, FAC incorporates scene study, feminist theory, consciousness raising and community building. Intended for actors who audition and perform regularly, this abridged version of the longer workshop aims to flip the script and expand possibilities for women, trans and nonbinary people in theatre and beyond.

RSVP for the workshop by clicking here. Although walk-ins are welcome, please register to guarantee your seat.
