LOS ANGELES! #GO4THDTLA Grand Park is launching the biggest rooftop fireworks display in DTLA and expanding festivities  from Temple to Second Streets, with doors opening at 1pm (no prior admittance) stages going live at 4pm and fireworks at 9pm. This year, Grand Park’s 4th of July Block Party is bigger, better and FREE FOR ALL! **Safety for everyone is número uno. Please read all event info to know what to bring and what to leave at home:**

GETTING THROUGH BAG CHECK: All bags will be checked upon entry to event space. Only empty reusable [non-glass] water bottles will be permitted (that means, no water bottles with liquid). Several free water bottle filling stations provided by LADWP will be available within the event perimeter to fill up empty bottles. Also, several booths will have water for sale inside the event space. FOR THE CHILDREN: We understand Grand Park Kids have their favorite juices and snacks to gobble while having a blast at the Splash Pad, SO…sealed Juice boxes or pouches will be permitted in addition to aluminum soda or sparkling water cans.

PICNIC SUPPLIES: Feel free to bring your own food and snacks in totes/baskets and handheld coolers. Large coolers take up too much space, so we ask they be left home (gotta fit everyone!). Same goes for lawn furniture, including chairs and tables. Have on-hand your love for Los Angeles, sunglasses, smiling faces, and toda la familia.

HOOCH: This will be an alcohol-free event: no beer garden or point of purchase / no outside alcohol permitted in event space.

FOOD: Food vendors will be onsite.

PLEASE LEAVE AT HOME: Grilling gear, alcohol, narcotics, fireworks, sparklers, candles, large coolers (handheld coolers OK but subject to search), lawn furniture including low folding chairs, tents, lawn umbrellas or sun umbrellas (handheld umbrellas OK) or anything that spikes into the ground or would obstruct views of stages.

SCHEDULE: Doors open at 1pm for early birds (no prior admittance). Simultaneous stages go live at 4pm, fireworks at 9pm. Event ends at 9:30pm. EVENT MAP>
